If you don’t know who Tim Ferriss is, here is the tl;dr. Tim Ferriss is an American author, entrepreneur, angel investor, and public speaker that uses his own money to experiment on himself for human performance (everything from social to mental to physical), and has written a number of books on the subject.
I’ve been a fan ever since his first book “The Four Hour Work Week”. A few months ago he had a show (that was fairly short lived) and I missed a specific episode that I really wanted to see: “Tactical Shooting”. I’m an avid watcher of skills training and based on how thorough a number of his other “experiments” are (not to mention the access to experts that he somehow pulls off-getting), I was definitely interested to to see if there was going to be anything useful in the show.
I don’t think there was anything earth shattering in the show, but filming was great. It is also a pretty good intro primer on 3-Gun and there are some good tips (again nothing really new, but hearing them by different people and from different perspectives is helpful IMHO). There are also some cool video taken of the shotgun with a Phantom camera–the video is worth it just for that.
Well, he got rights (US only; apologies to our foreign readers) to the show and has made all of the episodes available on I Tunes.
