Hornady Tripoint gun safe: Unboxing & review (VIDEO)

Hornady not only makes some great ammo but they also have a gun safe product line.

In the first of three Hornady safe unboxing and reviews, I took a look at the Hornady Tripoint gun safe.

Bottom line, this is a really good no-frills gun safe that has a lock and key mechanism.

I would prefer to see a beefier security cable but remember, pretty much any cable can be cut so the cable is more of a deterrent or it can slow someone down.

I think you get really great value for your money here. While the MSRP is $40, I found it on Amazon for $25.99.

MSRP: $40.00

Run the cable around your immovable object, then run one end of the cable through the little loop on the other end, then lock it all up.

Unless that’s made in the USA, they just pick it out of Alibaba from some Chinese vendor and slap their name on it. Not that there is anything wrong with that. 😀

One of these days they will start using half decent locks, and not something you can open with a bic pen.
