  • Terrible location. No major airport nearby, and Ocean City isn’t really a resort town by any stretch. Should have sucked it up and put it closer to the DC area in MD or NoVA.

  • rayward

Most of the guns and magazines will be illegal in MD. Move it to VA.

    • Cheez1

      How about West Virginia…

  • Maryland was a dumbass move.

  • Jusuchin

Dulles and National is nearby, and the Dulles Expo center is no stranger to gun shows, other venues in the state, and even the Dems (well, the ones I know) in NoVA are packing and understand the 2nd Amendment. WHY MARYLAND?!

  • Douglas Watson

Why would they choose one of the most actively opposed to gun rights states on the Eastern Seaboard? Only NY and NJ are worse (MA is about the same). Until this is moved to a state that is not in occupied territory, I will not be attending.

    IT’S A TRAP!

    … It is April 1st…

Why Maryland, it is impossible to legally travel in Maryland with a handgun positioned where you can get it if needed.

  • Safety Guy

This sounds like it will be a great show. Too bad it’s held in such an anti gun state as Md.
Only about a four drive from me, but won’t be going there.

Maryland…Maryland… No, I will not attend. I have seen too many abuses of privacy and the anti-gun agenda they pursue; Also the abuses of traveling gun owners on their highways. Anyone attending will likely have their licence plate recorded and databased. If stopped for any minor traffic infraction (real or not) if you have a CCW plan on being searched and delayed until they figure out you have no firearms with you. Not worth it to me. I avoid all travel into DC, MD and NJ simply because they have such terrible policies and will abuse someone anytime an opportunity arises all under “legal and proper” auspices.

It is one of the only opportunity to stand up and fight behind enemy lines. Most of Md. Residents are proud of our right to bear arms. Just because the politics are skewed doesn’t mean the citizens feel differently. It is easy to retreat to more friendlier states but if we continue to do so the cancer will only spread. The Md. Eastern Shore has one of the oldest hunting heritages in the Nation. There are 2200 Law Enforcement agencies within a 3 The largest Military bases and personnel in the Nation are located within a 4hr drive. As far as gun sales go …it is only Md. residents that will not be able to purchase certain firearms which are just a few anyway. A person from out of state can purchase what the want and have it shipped to their FFL dealer…no different then buying from an online site. Every available gun including class 3 will be on site. A FFL dealer can possess any gun that is Federal Legal. If you did not know it we have a new Governor. The opportunity is upon us ….but for those that comment in away that separates us and does not support us…are no better then those try to take away our guns. Why Ocean City Md.? Four Reasons…first the infrastructure can support it. Secondly it is geographically located within a 4 hr drive of 50% of the East Coast populous. Thirdly Ocean City Convention Center is the only Venue not controlled by the State that is large enough and lastly Ocean City is considered an All American Nationally acclaimed Family Resort…. what not a better place to host a firearms event that shows that the firearm industry is not the boogie man. I’m putting my money where my mouth is ..close to a half a million dollars. By American Hero Promotions owner of the Mid Atlantic Arms Expo.
