Unboxing Video: Gerber MP1-AR multi-tool

One of the fun things that happens from time to time is that a mystery box just appears on my doorstep. The latest one came from Gerber Gear. I made an unboxing video since that’s what the kids like to watch these days and I had no idea what was inside:

After the unboxing, I went online and found out it’s the brand new MP1-AR multi-tool for AR-15s/M4s. Pretty snazzy.

Price: $145.00

    AR-15/M-16 tool?
Back in the day we used a 5.56 x 45 mm cartridge or a nail to work on our M-16’s.
    Did not cost $145.00 either.

Back in the day we used old t-shirts and no lube because Uncle Same couldn’t afford it. Maybe the tool works a lot better than your nail, huh?

        Maybe? I’d say yes.
I recall that $900.00 hammer and $3000.00 toilet seat for NASA though.

I wish I had these problems. You know. The problem of random swag in my mail box.

    Nice add for Gerber…

About the only thing I’d want is the
bit set. I could do without another mult-tool and I prefer the slide
open Gerber tools myself anyway. I guess if you didn’t have a multi-tool
already I could see spending the money on this or if your agency/unit
issued them. I’ll just wait and see if I can get the bit set
separately rather than spend the money on the complete unit.

    Respectfully Submitted
