I like the idea of the LC9s Pro. It sounds like Ruger is listening to folks and giving them what they want.

    • JumpIf NotZero

Other issues aside, Ruger has been killing it in listening to customers dept.

  • Jack Morris

    Meh.
Upgrades are cool, and necessary, but not very exciting. Shot show this year was kinda meh.

  • JumpIf NotZero

Hey TFB, when you do videos, do you think maybe you can cut the pointless intro graphics down to maybe 3 seconds vs 13 seconds. You’re not even the worst offender, but the intro scene is entirely unnecessary. Maybe just a banner at the bottom and jump right into actual content?

    • James R.

I made the intro. I think you may be right – I will run a trimmed-down version by the team and see where it goes. Thanks for your input.

      • JumpIf NotZero

Right on man, the content is usually pretty good, let’s get to it before I head over to reddit or start skipping for relevant info 😉

    • Nicks87

Long intros make my ADD go into overdrive. I’ve been known to just click off of a video if it has too long an intro.

      • JumpIf NotZero

Arfcom (I think it was them anyhow) was the worst. 30 seconds at one point. I hated them for that.

      • CavScout

TFB should apologize for requiring an ounce of focus/patience/attention span! How dare they…

  • SM

If Ruger ever makes a 6 shot LCRx in .357 mag with a 3 inch barrel, I’d buy it. I’d probably buy 2.

    • JumpIf NotZero

Its already starting to overlap with the SP101. The 101 4″ on that note, probably my favorite revolver.

    • DrewN

I’d like that, and a regular LCR in .45 ACP w/ moonclips.(.44 Special is fine too).

  • FourString

Now I really want an LCRx 9, with the three inch barrel / larger grip / exposed hammer. Wah.

  • James Brandon

James & Brandon, if your name and title is below you when you are on screen, you don’t need to introduce yourself. I’m here for the guns, so I’m looking for more of a talking hand model while the camera zooms and pans on the details of the firearms. Sorry.

  • Michael Acuna

Am I the only person who wants a railed version of the SR 1911?

    • FourString

Lights lights lights unce unce unce

  • Bob

Were you looking a little uncomfortable because you were getting swept from time to time?

    • James R.

Ha, good eye, Bob. You are correct. That’s my fault, though, I should have assumed that he was going to point them in that direction by the way the table was laid out. I eventually just stepped out of frame. And to be fair to Brandon, they were all unloaded with flagged chambers, I just still get jumpy no matter what, hard instinct to suppress I suppose. Funny you caught that.

      • John Bear Ross

I don’t blame you. It’s never fun getting swept, even when you know it’s unloaded. That was a fun little dance between 0:50 and 1:20. 😉

        Great vid. I just subscribed.

        Best,
        JBR

  • Will

Why has Ruger decided to ugly up the MK series .22pistols? Or is that blue thing a whole new offering?

    • MrApple

At least it’s not still Liberace Gold.

  • john

Had an LCP, sold it. Why?

If they change the following it will out-sell gasoline:

    Wider trigger, aluminum, not plastic
    Shorten the trigger pull
Double strike capability (cheaper .380 rounds have hard primers)
Put some markers on the sights, even fluorescent paint
Metal recoil spring rod (I believe they fixed this)

Make these changes and I will buy it again and shout its superiority from the rooftops.

…but I’m sure you still sell enough not to care…

    • john

Ok, should have watched the video first…oops..

      ..but still no double strike!

  • gunsandrockets

Now all Ruger needs is to offer the lightweight commander in .38 Super and the LCRx in .327 Federal Magnum.

  • John Bear Ross

I long for an eight-shot .357 Magnum on a Redhawk or Super Redhawk frame.
    Big, stainless, and all business.

    JBR

  • Hopsaregood

The intro is short compared to most videos. My comment, not complaint, is the Ruger rep picking up the revolvers and handling and even cocking them without showing or checking on the video that they are unloaded. Safety, Safety is the word and we all know someone who will get the wrong idea from that. Love the 1911, cannot wait to lay hands on one.

  • CavScout

Hey. Vid didn’t work. Instead it plays the movie Twilight. Pretty sure that’s where I recognize that guy from…

    • James R.

      Lol…you watch ‘Twilight’?
