Do You Like Premium Leather Holsters? Master’s Has Them

IMG_1487

Master’s Premium Leather Holsters out of Virginia sells a number of handmade premium leather holsters. The holsters are made from premium top grain cowhide and are hand molded to the shape of the gun. All of the edges and surfaces are finished.

They make everything from shoulder holsters to belt holsters to IWB to ankle holsters. They also have a number of ambidextrous options. In addition Master’s makes magazine and ammo carriers, belts and clip on shotgun shell belts.

The prices seem pretty reasonable for the quality of workmanship. Does any one here carry one of their holsters?  If so, what do you think of it?  What was the break-in period like?

Tom is a former Navy Corpsman that spent some time bumbling around the deserts of Iraq with a Marine Recon unit, kicking in tent flaps and harassing sheep. Prior to that he was a paramedic somewhere in DFW, also doing some Executive Protection work between shifts. Now that those exciting days are behind him, he has embraced his inner “Warrior Hippie” and assaults 14er in his sandals and beard, or engages in rucking adventure challenges while consuming craft beer. To fund these adventures, he writes medical software and builds websites and mobile apps. His latest venture is as one of the founders of IronSights.com; a search engine for all things gun related. He hopes that his posts will help you find solid gear that will survive whatever you can throw at it–he is known (in certain circles) for his curse…ahem, ability…to find the breaking point of anything.

Yeah, I have one. Nice quality. The leather is a bit thick, so durable, but enough to make it affect concealed carry.
