Finally(!), Blackhawk has released a holster that is compatible with lights other than their proprietary weaponlights. The new Blackhawk EPOCH Level 3 holsters are designed to be compatible with a variety of light systems including Streamlight TLR-1 & TLR-2 and Surefire X200/X300 light/laser systems.

The holster features a thumb-activated release that disengages a ejection-port and pivot guard lock.¬†After the draw, the pivot guard remains open to allow for one-handed re-holstering. The holster ships with a “Jacket Slot Duty Belt Loop” and other loops are available separately for Mid & High-Ride positioning.

The EPOCH is now available for common Glock (17, 22, & 31) and Smith & Wesson M&P pistols (9, .40, & .357) in matte, plain, and basketweave finishes. The holsters retail for about $108 for the matte black and $125 for plain and basketweave finishes. For southpaws, the EPOCH is available in both right and left hand configurations.
