New TacStar 10-22 Take-down M-4 Stocks.

TakeDownStock_LG

I, for one, am happy to see the aftermarket catching up with the 10/22 take-down models. Ruger’s stock stock is acceptable, but there is plenty of room for innovation. In that vein, TacStar has announced the release of their new “Adaptive Tactical M-4” stocks for the Ruger 10/22 take-down rifle.

The M-4 stock is a drop-in replacement for the take-down 10/22 and adds a pistol grip and storage for additional 10-round rotary magazines. The stock is fully adjustable and adds rail sections for mounting accessories. The TacStar M-4 will be available in Black, “Legends”, Kryptec, and the pink Muddy Girl. Prices start at $149.95 for the black and $189.95 for the other colors.

TacStar’s groundbreaking Adaptive Tactical M4 stock set a new standard for aftermarket 10-22 stocks. Now, Ruger’s 10-22 TakeDown models can enjoy the upgrade with the same wealth of features. The M4 TakeDown’s two piece design even allows the upgraded rifle to continue to fit in the factory carrying case. Available in black and 3 camo finishes, the length-adjustable stock retains Adaptive Tactical’s reversible forend Picatinny rail and buttstock storage for extra magazines. In addition, the pistol grip is designed to accept the optional stabilizing Tac-TRED monopod. Made in USA. All Models in stock now!

    Another “ground breaking” product lol

ATI has been be working on an AK Style stock specifically for the 10/22 TD. I’m really looking forward to it. They had a prototype at SHOT’14. Hopefully it sees the light of day.

Would it kill you guys to post a link once in a while? How about a picture that you can view without a magnifying glass? What is this, 1994?

    • Seriously, the lack of links on this site is crazy annoying. This is a website, not a magazine. Someone teach these guys how the internet works.

Internet works like this, can’t find the link or it isn’t provided? Type the company’s name into google, go to their site look at said product or is the extra 30 seconds that takes too much for you? Since you will probably learn infinitely more than what the press release or just looking at the picture will already tell you.

        • Unfortunately, that’s not how quality publications work. The best publications on the internet provide their readers with all the necessary information directly in the article. If you want to make such silly comments, we could have all just went to google directly and avoided this whole blog to search for information. Why not suggest that, too?

Would it kill you to ask nicely? Your parents obviously didn’t slap the shit out of you enough for being a spoiled disrespectful child.

Nice stock, too bad the only camo options are way too tan. They say you can buy a black version for $150 then pay them something like an additional $290 or so to have them dip it in Kryptek Mandrake.

now all I need is the bolt action Ruger rimfire rifle to be made into a takedown version using the 10/22’s system.
