I am lucky (with a good rifle) to put all the holes in a MOA. This shooter has skills and equipment far beyond anything I or anyone I know is capable of.

Magnifique!

If I remember my history correctly, didn’t York do better then this with a Enfield M1917 back in WW1?

    • Rogier Velting

      Better than 1/20th MOA?

    • Justin

      In your wildest dreams

      • Zachary marrs

“Better” is subjective, I doubt that this led to the capture of over 100 Germans

  • Justin

Anyone know what the gun/setup/rules were here? Was it a rail gun? $10,000 bolt action on a lead sled?

    • Mr.T

No one really shoots rail guns in Europe so would bet that it was a typical Br gun and those cost 3000-5000$ no more

  • Guywithagun

Pfffftt…. Oh please. I can do that all day with my AK… in full auto… Eyes closed… with Wolf ammo. Ok, fine, no… no I can’t… but I’ve got a bomber jacket with much cooler patches than those. :-)
    Wow, nice shooting!

      …akimbo

I am sure it was done with highly specialised equipment, and the shooter was someone who practised religiously for this one specific scenario, but yeah, what Nathan S said: Magnifique!

  • james

Impressive! Anyone got more info? My google fu is weak apparently because I can’t seem to find ANYTHING on this. Who shot it? With what? How many times? I really want more info. Anyone?

  • Matrix3692

so, which firearm is used in the record-breaking event?

    • Raven

I expect it was one of those absurd benchrest “rail guns”, that are just a barrel bolted into a steel frame.

      • Matrix3692

how many shots did they shot to get a grouping?

        • hkryan

          1… ;-)

          • Matrix3692

            no, for real.

No, the group was fired in the 100m Heavy Varmint event.

  • AK™

I heard it was done with an out of spec Mosin Nagant..with wolf ammo.
