Kriss Costa

What does Chris Costa and the KRISS Vector have to do with one another? Before there was KRISS USA, there was Transformational Defense Industries. Who did they get to help with their weapon system? None other than a young Chris Costa.

You can see some of Chris Costa’s Magpul Dynamic techniques when he manipulates the Vector.

OMG, it’s Paula Broadwell, author and friend of Petraeus.

    • TangledThorns

LOL, that’s too funny. She gets around, a lot 😉

      • The Hun

well- she is a mossad agent- they’re international

      1. Don’t make fun of Paula Broadwell…. she is hawt, and damn smart. Published and an accomplished academic.
      2. Mrs. Petraeus failed strategically by failing to maintain herself(both fashionably, intellectually, and physically (FIP)), thereby opening a weak point that could be exploited by a smarter opponent who does possess FIP.

The first Kriss seen in public (that I can find), circa 2005. You can read more, and watch a video at these links, but a lot of the images & links are broken. I had to use the Wayback Machine to retrieve the Armed Forces journal.

Aahhhh, Chris costa, everybody’s favorite coastie

    • KestrelBike

Everyone loves to rag on him, and I don’t know why. If his techniques/methods work, what’s the problem? His magpul videos may be considered by some too-cool-for-school types as the purview of mallninjas nowadays, but nobody stops to consider how many new shooters those videos generated, and how those new shooters by and large discovered what the 2nd Amendment was and now support and defend it. I don’t give a F if he’s just coast guard and not super duper navy-seal-ranger-PJ-batman, the man’s done more for gun rights through his videos than most by introducing EBR shooting to the general, civilian (and non-“operator” military) public. Not to mention, as far as I know, he’s not a douche in real life, so that’s a bonus.

I met Chris at SHOT14 in Vegas at the Nighthawk Custom booth and he was a very friendly guy to talk to.

      • Zachary marrs

Ive met him too, nice guy, and the only reason I make fun of him is the mallninja crowd, so nothing to see here, move along

      • n0truscotsman

Costa is one of the nicest dudes you can meet, so i dont understand the animosity towards him.

        “by some too-cool-for-school types”

you couldn’t have said it better. These types are the worst kinds of gun owners and critics. They’re a close genetic species to the walmart ammo early bird and the internet commando. I think they can even successfully reproduce amongst eachother too, but that is pure speculation on my part. Im no zoologist.

They can, and end up looking exactly like an extended family member from “Honey Boo Boo.”

I’ll always admit when I haven’t actually used/shot something and am merely giving an uninformed opinion. Wish most of the gun crowd would do the same. But it’s like that with almost every hobby/sport. Look at all the wannabee racers who watched “Fast and Furious” and put a spoiler on their ’95 Civic, then suddenly were experts in street racing.

You guys couldn’t have embedded the video?

    • Nicholas C

      I tried. It didn’t work.

Just need to get Peter Kriss in on this action.

      Are you Stephan Pastis?!

I have not shot one. I have held the SMG and talked with two the used it. The universal (of 2 shooters) was it was a waste of time to use the gun. The first shot hit, the next 5-6 feet north east and the gun was empty. I’ve used the MP5 for many years firing ten of thousands of rounds through them. The Kriss, per the users, was inferior. I’ll take their word for it.
