Stag Arms Now Selling 3TH-M Uppers

Stag upper 3TH-M

Stag Arms announced they are now selling the same uppers used on the company’s 3TH-M rifle as a separate item.  The uppers have a 16″ free floated barrel, DiamondHead handguard and DiamondHead front and rear sights.  The uppers are compatible with any milspec AR-15/M-16/M-4 lower.

The barrels are chrome lined, made of 4140 steel and have a 1:9 twist.  An A2-style flash hider is standard, but other options are available.  The uppers have a 5.56 NATO chamber, but a 300 BLK option is also available.

MSRP is $725, and the uppers can be ordered in right- and left-hand versions.

Why on earth would anybody buy this when you can get a mil-spec upper with a Centurion Arms rail from BCM right now for only $499?

Stag comes with sights, bcg, and (in my opinion) much better handguard.
      AND it’s not a BLEM upper…

Nice looking handguard, I’m curious as to what system of accessory attachment is being used on it. It doesn’t look like a modular nor does it look like keymod, it looks sort of like Magpuls but I don’t think that anybody else has adopted it yet, or am I wrong?

    For $725 I’d be expecting a Wylde chambered 4150 barrel and I’d hope for a 1×8 twist.
