Having traveled to the far-east, India, and Mid-East often I run across all sorts of weaponry. Often overseas, I saw brightly-colored AK’s, INSAS’, and a few M-series weapons sprinkled in. Not knowing the local language or wanting to be detained for approaching a security guard awkwardly, I was left wondering the source of festive adornments.
My sincere thanks to Jerking the Trigger and Echo Nine Three. It turns out the material is called “Paki Tape” and is in common use outside the United States to give weapons a bit of “flair.”
You can pick up rolls of it for $7.95 through Echo Nine Three’s website.
