Damage Industries Vertical Forward Grip

Damage Industries recently debuted two new vertical forward grips. Available in a “knob” style and “grenade” style (see below), they’re made out of 6061 T6 aluminum with a Mil-Spec hardcoat anodized finish right here in the USA. They also feature an internal storage compartment that is accessible by removing the grip. Both grips are 3″ long with the knob style weighting in at 4.5 oz and grenade style at 4.3 oz. They currently retail for $24.99 at DamageIndustriesllc.com.

While the Damage Industries offerings appear to be compact, well-designed and well-made, the built-in storage compartments would be far more ergonomic, practical and efficient in real-world operations if they were directly accessible via an O-ring sealed tail cap on the bottom end, which would not necessitate removal of the entire grip. There is a good reason why the majority of competing manufacturers have chosen to go this route.

when’s someone going to make a keymod grip? That would have been innovative, and 4.3oz is pretty heavy, they should have used polymer. It’s not like the foregrip is that crucial of a part where it needs to be uber reliable and should be made out of metal.
