JTech Gear is manufacturing a nifty sling system designed by Strike Industries. The S3 Sling (Silent Strategic System) uses kevlar loops rather than metal or plastic sling hooks or swivels. Nylon covers the YKK Hamerloc buckles to decrease the sound of the weapon being detached. Other than the obvious use for law enforcement and military, this sling could be useful for both home defense and hunting situations when you would not want to give your position away. JTech Gear is not as well known as they should be in the USA. I met them for the first time last year at SHOT Show. They are a major manufacturer of military and law enforcement uniforms and gear and supply militaries around the world. I know of at least one well known special forces organization that uses uniforms made by them (I cannot remember if I was allowed to publish the organization’s name, so I won’t).
