I have no voice this morning. Imagine a room full with 150 socializing ladies. This year was the first annual party representing women of the gun industry. Last year Shelley Rae (Gun Nuts Radio and GunUp) and I organized a last minute happy hour for women we knew and met during the show. We wanted to try and make it an official event every year but bigger with sponsors. Thanks to Britney of The WON, Jacquelyn Kelly of Armed in Heels and all of the sponsors they brought in it all came together.

Just about anyone who is anyone was there. I mingled with celebrities such as Michelle Viscusi of Top Shot and Stephanie Hayden from Red jacket Firearms. Many competitors such as Julie Golob of S&W and Dianna of FNUSA were there. A big group of 5 gals from Otis Technology (one of the sponsors) made an appearance. The Louka Tactical ladies who you can find hanging out in the Blackhawk booth all week. I think the funniest part was the hundreds of guys that were being held at the perimeter of the party by yellow tape. They were waiting for the 8:30 bell to sound that opened the gate that allowed them to come in and join the party. The only men allowed during the event were Lars of NRA Blog and Cameron of NRA News.
