You have to expect me to write about products for the ladies since I may be one of not very many female guest bloggers on TFB. Women make up a growing niche in the gun industry  and there is a huge  presence this year of products for women, women owned companies, women competitors, LE, military and of course bloggers. I had one great chance meeting today while in the very long lunch line. I have been wearing my “Bling Bang” crystallized 223 pendant necklace at the show. A gal in line noticed and asked me about it and I found out she designs and sells fashionable shooting accessories for women. Appropriately named Tactical Barbe Designs, she produces awesome hats, tees, and stickers. She loved my necklaces and may be selling them on her site as well later. She bought one from me on the spot. But I was the lucky one in receiving one of her super cute caps with pink Tactical Barbe logo on it. Her website is not live yet but you can find her on Facebook. As I was walking through the lower floor a little later I came across a vendor booth that was very pink. Even more pink than Barbe.

Shady Lady Shooting has been getting a lot of attention at the show. Their first time here, designer Dottie

Nobles and friend Jessica Paine were showing off a great line of gun cases for the ladies. From pink and white pistol and rifle cases to tiny “boudoir” pistol cases made of silk Asian prints. Because of the popularity of products for women,  Dottie said they have been hounded by media at the show.

One more company I can not leave out is GunGoddess.com. Of course most items sold on her website are for women but she does have uni-sex items as well. Athena Means owns Gun Goddess and carries the coolest accessories for competitors. Bling out your Glock mags or add custom designed grips to your 1911. Or how about a leopard or zebra print range

bag? You can find anodized bolt handles and release buttons for your tactical shotgun in bright colors. So for all you men out there reading this, there are many gift ideas for the fabulous woman in your life. No more excuses.

I might be distantly related to Anette! I love the way women have entered the market, and if I were rich, I’d collect every multi colored firearm, made with that market in mind. I just love that stuff! No – I’m not gay, but I still can’t resist picking up a pink belly gun! HA!
