S&W Bodyguard First Edition Set
S&W are selling a limited edition "First Edition" set of the Bodyguard pistol and revolver. I really like the presentation of this set.
The First Edition Bodyguard set will have matching serial numbers, the prefix for the revolvers will begin with RBG and prefix for the pistols will begin with CBG.
Only 2000 sets will be produced with serial number ranges of RBG0001 - RBG 2000 for the revolvers and CBG001- CBG2000 for the pistols.
Each of the first Edition sets will come with a beautifully handcrafted glass top presentation case, coin and First Edition gun rugs. Own this highly collectable piece of Smith & Wesson history before it is gone!
I am not sure what the set it retailing for. The first-"First Edition" is being auctioned at Gunbroker with proceeds going to the USA Shooting Team to help them go to the 2012 Olympics in London.
Targetmaster in PA, I think, has/had a “1 of 500″ cased pair of bodyguards. How many editions of sets are they going to run?
I guess it’s sort of like how KISS has done several dozen farewell tours?
There is something about polymer guns with internal laser sights that doesn’t exactly scream “collectable” to me.
Kind of gimmicky but its for a good cause I guess.
I have the auto and it has the longest trigger pull of any handgun ive ever owned. It shoots well but it takes some getting used to.
