The latest in Nerf gun technology
The N-Strike Stampede Blaster is fully automatic, is magazine fed, has a foregrip bipod and is probably illegal in California ![]()
Gizmodo report it will go on sale in September for $50.
[ Many thanks to Fred and Rolf for emailing me the link. ]

@watthefuk
Airsofts, surprisingly, are completely legal in CA, you can even buy them at your local Big 5 sporting goods store as well as any number local brick and mortar airsoft stores.

watthefuk, I was just joking about cali
spray it black and install a low power laser in the barrel and you’ve got your next “space war” movie prop.
“gunner”
im not into kid stuff but this would be cool to shoot my buddies with
That one’s going right next to the Nova and AR-15
Nerf really stepped up the realism factor with their N-Strike line of guns – Standardized magazines, standardized Picatinny-like rail system; I have to admit, they are pretty cool for Nerf!
Look at that Hi-Cap mag! And that foregrip/bipod and short barrel. That’s a baby-slayer/mass-murderer for sure! /Sarcasm.
Careful they try to ban it in California too scary. Evil Yellow rifles!! LOL
Why couldn’t Nerf make these kinda things when I was like 10?
Re the California comment, I fear you’re right.
Even if you got the NFA paperwork for an auto rifle, you’re still dealing with the following violations of SB23:
1. Detachable magazine AND
2. Collapsible stock AND
3. >10 rd magazine AND
4. foregrip
5. thumbhole stock
I mean, really, this thing is a winner in so many different ways. All you have to do now is do the 500-rds/minute mod (basically, massively increase voltage to the motor), and you’re unstoppable.
If liking this is wrong, I don’t want to be right.[2] Remembers me a G36C. Awesome.
sweet
I’ve got an old belt-fed Nerf gun stashed away. You pulled the belt to feed and fire the Nerf darts. You could get a pretty good rate of fire, but the belt holds only 5 or 6 darts if I remember correctly.
It could use a few picatinny rails. You need to be able to mount a tactical flashlight for night-time nerf target identification!
The CA legal version removes the pistol grip and is limited to a 10-dart non-removable (you need to use the head of a dart to push the button in) magazine. It also omits mounting for the NERF bayonet.
That’s the rifle from “The Living Daylights” !
I’ve heard SOCCOM has ordered 300 for evaluation.
Why are toys so much cooler now?
THATS JUST TOO FREAKIN SWEET!!!
Nerf battles get old quickly. Already warned my roommate that if he buys one of these to add to his arsenal, instead of grabbing one of his Nerf guns to return fire I’ll buy an Airsoft. I’m thinking 93R…
