Nighthawk Custom, recognized for their high-end custom firearms, has released three new products at SHOT Show 2024: the Firehawk 10mm pistol, the ornately designed VIP Silver pistol, and the Montana Heritage rifle, the latter being a nod to their acquisition of Cooper Rifles.

James Reeves is at the Nighthawk Custom Booth at TriggrCon 2023 checking out their latest addition to the Boardroom series of handguns – the BDS9. The Nighthawk Custom BDS9 (Boardroom Double Stack 9mm) is a high-performance pistol designed for competitive shooters. It features a tri-cut angle top slide with lightening ports for faster cycling and comes with an Interchangeable Optics System (IOS) for iron sights or a red dot optic, a tough anodized black billet aluminum grip, and of course, the love and care that goes into every Nighthawk Custom pistol.

The Roaring Twenties was a time in the early part of the 20th century marked by a surging economy, mass consumerism, big jazz bands, flapper girls, and of course, prohibition laws. The 18th amendment to the U.S. Constitution was ratified on January 16th of 1919 and officially went into effect in early 1920 marking the beginning of what many would consider being a tumultuous age for a developing America. Arkansas-based Nighthawk Custom have announced the introduction of the Treasurer, an officer-framed 9x19mm 1911. The Treasurer pistol has a match-grade 3.8-inch barrel, Railscale Ascend G10 grips, and a DLC finish with a Gold Titanium Nitride barrel. MSRP for the Treasurer is $4,599.00.

The Korth NXS eight-shot revolver isn’t exactly new, we’ve already covered the model following it, but the NXS is Korth’s first eight-shot wheelgun. While the NX series isn’t the most traditional-looking, it has numerous features compared to its predecessors. The NXS is chambered for .357 Magnum and cut to accept moon clips, and is also convertible to 9mm, with barrel length options of four or six inches.

Nighthawk Custom, in collaboration with Turnbull Restoration and Agency Arms, have introduced a limited edition deluxe 1911 pistol called VIP Agent 2. The color case hardened frames and mammoth ivory grips make the appearance of each VIP Agent 2 pistol unique, as this centuries-old hardening/finishing technique and the fossil material always result in different patterns. The company describes this pistol as “a unique combination of old-world finishing techniques and modern machining, creating a true 21st century heirloom piece!“.

Fans of TFBTV must know that we’ve kept a close eye on Clint Smith and his training facility Thunder Ranch. Over the years Thunder Ranch has been coming out with more and more firearms with their name on it with some design changes spurred on by the man himself – Clint Smith. The Thunder Ranch Combat Special pistol is the newest offering from Clint Smith and Nighthawk Custom.

Nighthawk Custom has published a press release announcing the addition of a long slide pistol to their Shadow Hawk series of 1911-pattern handguns. In the description of this pistol, the company says: “Shadow Hawk Long Slide maintains all the features of its namesake, but in a 6” long slide configuration to create a supremely accurate pistol“. Arkansas-based Nighthawk Custom have launched their new Tactical Ready Series of 9×19 double stack 1911s. The Tactical Ready Series or TRS includes the Commander and Comp, both feed from 17 round magazines and feature a monolithic slide, a lightweight aluminium Nighthawk Custom flat trigger, dimpled cocking serrations and a match grade barrel.
