#MOAAllDay
TFB Writers MOA All Day Challenge- Rusty S.
For this challenge, I used two firearms. In anticipation of pronghorn season, I brought out my 6.5 Grendel AR. For the other firearm, when Pete first brought up the challenge with the title “MOA All Day”, I immediately thought of a belt-fed with a quick change barrel, as they can shoot “All Day” a bit better than other firearms.
TFB Writers 'MOA All Day' Challenge – Pete
As a follow up to the ‘ Can You Shoot MOA All Day Long?‘ post from a few weeks ago, I asked a few of my fellow TFB writers if they would be willing to participate in an in-house precision challenge. If you remember from our original story, ‘MOA All Day’ is a simple test of a shooter’s rifle skills: five, five shot groups on one piece of paper. Hopefully some of the other TFB writers schedule’s will allow them to pick a rifle, shoot and post up their targets with comments and observations.
Can You Shoot MOA All Day Long?
Whether online or in person, we have all met that one shooter who claims their super special rifle (and finger) can shoot “1/4 MOA all day long”. First, ask them to explain the definition of MOA. After they stumble through some strange combination of MILs and MOA, they will probably head back to their bench grumbling. (Or they will just log off the internet for a few hours).
