POTD: Forging the American Kalashnikov KR-103
In one of TFB’s previous Photo Of The Day posts, we showed how a scope mount is born in the CNC machine. A block of aluminum turns into something useful. It’s now time to show a “before and after” of some forged parts for the new Kalashnikov KR-103, an American AK that was introduced at SHOT Show 2020.
NEW AK: KR-103 – 100% Russian 100% American
It is ironic that what might be one of the hottest releases on all of SHOT Show 2020 is 100% Russsian. But – the good news is that it is also 100% American at the same time.
