There are endless tactical black or multi-cam bags on the market claiming to be “low profile”. These same bags display numerous Velcro patches, have pals webbing on the outside of the bag, and scream gun! However, the industry is starting to listen to those wanting a quality pack in a very non-descript package. In order to accomplish this task, the bag has to be able to sit next to your standard North Face or Jansport pack and not look substantially different. Let’s take a look at the Haley Strategic FlatPack.

Beyond legos for gun nerds comes this soon-to-be-AR15-lower (aka package of raw metal) that can be transformed with skill and welding. Whereas 80% lower kits only require a drill press and finishing, this flat set requires welding and tapping of the receiver extension hole.

While not the first flat trigger to the market (that honor belongs to Salient Arms), the trigger is a solid offering starting at $150 retail and includes models for common Gen 1-4 handguns and a model for single-stacks including the G36, G42, and G43.

Apex Tactical has released a forward-set flat-faced trigger to improve the performance of your M&P handgun. Depending on the chosen springs, the trigger can be set from 2-5 pounds. The trigger includes a passive carrot-style safety.
