A while back, we speculated that there was something magical in the drinking water of Arkansas, as the state gets more and more based. Guess what, it’s happened again! Now, the state is requiring mandatory firearms safety classes for public schools starting this year.

What’s in the water in Arkansas? The Natural State might not be known for much besides being Bill Clinton’s home base, but over the past few years, it has become a center of ammunition production. The latest news on this front: D&M Holding Company (who?) has announced a new factory in Des Arc, Arkansas.

SIG Sauer have celebrated the opening of their newest facility the JAAC or Jacksonville Arkansas Ammunition Center. The huge new manufacturing facility expands SIG’s existing production space with a further 210,000 square feet dedicated to supporting the Next Generation Squad Weapon systems now entering service with the US Army. JAAC will focus on SIG’s advanced new hybrid ammunition which is an integral part of the NGSW platform.
