Vigilant Gear Holdings Acquires Primary Weapons Systems
Primary Weapons Systems is well known in the firearms industry as a quality rifle component company and has grown rapidly since its formation in 2008. One of the largest firearms manufacturers in the Northwest United States, PWS quickly grew from making accessories like compensators and other muzzle accessories to manufacturing venerated products like their PWS Long-Stroke Piston System. As of March 21, 2022, Primary Weapons Systems has been acquired by the Georgia-based company Vigilant Gear Holdings and joins a family of companies that now include Lone Wolf Distributors and Lone Wolf Arms.
CZ Group Completes The Acquisition of Colt
Readers of this blog are surely aware that CZ Group, or Česká Zbrojovka Group, were about to acquire Colt Holding Company LLC. Since all of the necessary regulatory approvals from U.S. and Canadian authorities have now been secured, the acquisition is fully closed and in a recent announcement, CZ welcomed Colt and Colt Canada to the group.

Long Live the Lever Gun! Earlier this week we covered how the Remington firearms company was being divided up amongst various bidders in massive asset liquidation. Chief of interest among those potential acquisitions was the sale of the Marlin brand to Sturm Ruger. Ruger has now had its offer accepted and the acceptance of that order comes with some good news for lovers of the Marlin brand of products.
STAG Arms Acquired by Investment Capital Firm
STAG Arms has been in a bit of trouble lately; legal, not financial. Simply put, they were (in my opinion) grossly negligent when it comes to the record-keeping & Handling of over 100 NFA full-auto lower receivers and over 3,000 un-serialized lowers.
