JUST RELEASED: Mossberg Shockwave 590M

Mossberg has just signaled the commercial availability of their latest Shockwave firearm chambered in 12 gauge scattergun bliss. The Shockwave  590M was announced earlier this year leading up to the SHOT Show in Vegas, sporting magazines over the more traditional tube-fed Shockwave. In case you’ve been living in a cave, had a While You Were Sleeping event, drafted into the Space Force and immediately deployed to the outlying terraformed planets or otherwise refuse to live in the modern world, the Shockwave is not a Shotgun nor is it an NFA controlled weapon. Although chambered In a gauge and not a caliber and having a barrel shorter than 18”, the combination of overall length and having no shoulder stock leaves the 590M categorized strictly as a firearm.
