    I am not going argue against the G17 being the most significant gun of the 1980s but to say in the last 100 years? No way. You have to be around 100 years and still be in use to claim that.

    Glocks are no more reliable than their competitors and any gun that you have modify to meet your requirements is not the best pistol around.

      @ptrog If I recall, the TEC-9 was very ammo sensitive, to the point where the manual named by brand and bullet weight the cartridges that would work in the gun. I was thinking about buying one back then, just for S and Gs, and the FFL told me, "I wouldn't use the word 's__t,' but . . . " So I bought something else.
