Distributors and dealers are starting to catch wind of SilencerCo’s latest release. Pulled from the Accusport catalog is the new Chimera, a no barrel restriction rifle silencer suitable for use with calibers ranging from 5.56mm to .300 Win Mag. The Chimera is compatible with ASR mounts and front caps from the Saker line of centerfire rifle silencers.

MSRP is set for a hair above $1K but as always, street prices will likely end up being reduced by 10-20%. Details and specifications can be found below.

With no barrel restrictions, the Chimera is arguably the best choice for a short barreled rifle (prepare to build your two-tax-stamp setup). Full-auto rated and compatible with .22 Hornet to .300 Winchester Magnum, the Chimera is usable on a variety of hosts. The Chimera is shipped with the reliable quick-attach ASR Mount and a 5/8 X 24 Muzzle Brake for easy installation.

    How about numbers at the ear?

      @MikeSmith13807 Why include the only possibly meaningful performance statistic instead of one where a good looking number likely correlates with a poor number at the ear when it is a system venting hot loud gas closer to the ear such as the M4 that a few Americans own?
