Izhmash To Manufacture Military & Consumer Ammunition
Famed Russian gun maker Izhmash, the original AK-47 manufacturer and the manufacturer of the newer AK-12, Saiga 12 and AK-108 firearms, is branching out into ammunition. They have gotten a license from the Russian government to start producing civilian ammunition and military ammunition up to 30mm in caliber. They say that the first ammunition they will be manufacturing is high-end civilian and sniper cartridges.
With Izhmash’s new consumer focus, I expect it won’t be to long until Izhmash branded ammunition shows up on gun shop shelves worldwide. With the shortage of ammunition right now, the extra supply will be welcome.
Many thanks to Peter for the tip.

Sounds great; as long as it's not as dirty as Wolf I'll buy it.
Now we just need Barnaul to start shipping 6.5 Grendel...
As long as it means cheap 5.45x39mm and 7.62x39mm ammo id be happy. And the company still make AK-74Ms too Steve.
