#WAC-47

Ukroboronprom, the state-owned Ukrainian defence concern, has confirmed the first deliveries of its M4-WAC-47 rifle to Ukrainian troops for evaluation. The rifle, based on the M4, is chambered in 7.62x39mm, earlier information had referred to the weapon as the M16-WAC-47.

Ukrainian state-owned defense corporation Ukroboronprom has announced that Ukraine starts testing the new modular AR-15 style rifles called WAC-47. Earlier we have reported about this intention and now the testing of this firearm has started.

The American company Aeroscraft, founded by an immigrant from Ukraine, and the State owned company  Ukroboronservis will co-operate to produce M4 carbines to NATO standard.
