Kalashnikov Concern has just published a press release announcing that a new modernized version of the 9mm Vityaz SMG has successfully passed the government trials. The new iteration of the submachine gun is called PPK-20. The trials were held within the R&D program called “Vityaz-MO” (Витязь-МО). As a result of the trials, the PPK-20 was approved as suitable for mass production.

Palmetto State Armory have introduced a new 9x19mm AK pistol. The AK-V is based on the Vityaz-SN 9mm AK-based submachine gun. The new AK-V feeds from PSA’s CZ Scorpion style 35 round magazines and comes in three packages: with a railed forened, a magpul M-LOK forend and a traditional forend. All three have SBA3 adjustable braces with a folding stock option coming soon.

Kalashnikov Media, Kalashnikov Concern’s dedicated media website, has been ramping up its releases recently. Its latest video features a hair-raising demo by Kalashnikov’s demonstration team.

A live webcast from the Concern Kalashnikov shooting club was broadcasted last weekend as part of the Army 2017 exhibition.
