Strike Industries Releases the NEW Strike Bipod Grip
The modern rifle is a major improvement upon older designs in many aspects. One of the most important improvements is the expansive modularity and aftermarket that come along with each firearm. As rifles gained the ability to be easily customized, folks began to buy all of the coolest accessories. The problem with this is real estate. There is only so much space on one gun. So, some companies began to combine certain accessories. The latest example of this comes from Strike Industries. Combining a vertical grip with a bipod, this is the Strike Bipod Grip.
BGV-ML1 M-LOK Stubby Vertical Grip from TangoDown
The vertical grip is a very common accessory in the AR-15 world for many riflemen both for duty and competitive use. The BGV-ML1 is TangoDown’s latest offering in their extensive lineup of bipods, foregrips, rail covers, and magazines for the AR-15 platform. The BGV-ML1 combines the original design of the tango down stubby grip and mates it with the M-LOK rail interface.
New Design: MDT Vertical Grip ELITE
Modular Driven Technologies has released a new version of their vertical grip called MDT Vertical Grip Elite. They claim it’s the most adjustable grip available for the AR-15 interface. The new MDT Vertical Grip Elite has two models. One is for Standard Chassis Rifles and the other is for AR10/15. To the best of my knowledge, the previous version (which I have and use on my Ruger Precision Rifle) was never compatible with the AR platform. The new design has a pocket for the detent spring in the top of the grip for a standard AR10/15 safety.
AFVG – Angled Vertical Grip Hybrid
I saw this in a local store. When I mentioned who I write for, he said: “you may be interested in this”. It is a custom AFVG. That is not what he calls it, that is just what I called it. It is a hybrid of an angled foregrip and vertical grip.
POTD: Maxim 9 AOW
Jorge aka @Silencers_1909 is at it again. Another stamp has been added to the collective. If you recall, Jorge has an impressive stamp collection. Well this new one is for a Form 4 transfer of a Maxim 9 AOW.
[SHOT 2018] What's New At Samson MFG
Samson has been developing upgrades for the S&W M&P Shield. You will notice it is sporting a compensator that they call the Pocket Comp. The comp is actually universal for any 1/2×28 threaded barrel but it is designed to match the contours of the Shield. The pocket comp has a unique mounting method. Rather than screw the comp onto the barrel and tighten a set screw onto the threads, it uses a thread protector. You screw on the included threaded protector and torque it down to 15 ftlbs. Using some sort of thread locker is recommended as well. Then the comp slides over the thread protector and the set screw tightens down onto it.
Mid-Evil Industries 360 VFG And Drop Stop | Big 3 East
Mid-Evil Industries came out to Big 3 East. They showed off their flag ship product, the 360º rotating foregrip. aka 360RFG. It comes in three variations: Picatinny, MLOK, and Keymod.
[Review] Mid-Evil Industries 360 Vertical Fore Grip
Now before you tune out just because this is a vertical fore grip, I implore you to read a little further. A couple of years ago I reviewed a Grip Pod, but really didn’t do much with it after. It was solidly built and put up with a ton of abuse, but again, it was a vertical fore grip, and I found it just getting in the way, unless I needed a quick and expedient bipod for my rifle during 3-Gun.
New Hogue AR-15 Grips
Most of us own at least one AR-15. We may have different reasons for owning them thanks to their versatility – plinking, hunting, competition, home defense – but we have them. And of those many, many AR-15s there probably are not many that remain as they were the day they first came out of the manufacturer’s box. After-market additions are, after all, a wonderful thing because they allow us to tailor our guns to our specific use and to our personal needs (and also allow us to give our rifles a bit of our own personal flair). Now Hogue is giving AR-15 owners another option for grips with their new G10.
Unity Tactical Low Profile VFG
Soldier Systems got a sneak peak at Unity Tactical’s newest product, a super low profile VFG. It is designed to mount to tubular and keymod handguards. It comes with all the mounting hardware. The one pictured is a pre-production sample so it may looks different when it is released. No word on price at the moment.
Saevus Urban Bayonet Vertical Grip
Saevus has an interesting concept. In the same vein as the Survival Grips, the Urban Bayonet is a vertical grip that can detach and become a weapon. In this case, it is a knife.
Survival Grips Knuckle Duster Vert Grip
Survival Grips has an interesting product. It is a vertical grip with a knuckle duster integrated into the grip.
