In this video, Hop is at NRAAM to check out the new Taurus TX22 TORO. This is a combination of all the best elements of the TX22 lineup, pairing the slide-mounted optic of the TX22 Compact with the heavier barrel of the TX22 Comp. And just for good measure, it comes with a new 22-round extended magazine.

New for 2023, Taurus has added a compact variant to the TX22 lineup. The TX22 Compact has a standard capacity of 13 rounds and can directly mount an optic using the Holosun K footprint. It can also accept magazines from the full size TX22 and Competition, and retains the threaded barrel adapter for use with suppressors.

The Taurus TX22 has been one of the most successful 22LR pistol releases in the last couple of years. Since its release, the TX22 platform has seen the standard model, and competition model, and now is adding to the lineup with the all-new TaurusTX 22 Compact. The new compact 22LR pistol comes with 13 rounds of standard capacity, an optic-ready slide, and a suppressor-ready barrel which should give it a wide range of uses for rimfire enthusiasts.

The new Taurus TX22 Competition is an optics ready version of the original TX22. The TX22 Competition is built on the same lower as the original, but with an extended barrel and slide, along with an optics base. The Taurus TX22 has been a hit with rimfire shooters since its release back in 2019. TFBTV presenter Hop has also reviewed the TX22 and shared his thoughts on the 22LR 16 shot pistol. Taurus has now introduced the Viridian Essential Red Laser Sight for the TX22 which has been specifically designed for the pistol as a concealed carry companion. The new offering is part of Viridians E-Series of weapon-mounted lasers.
