NEW Lead Slinger! Thompson (Auto Ordnance) Case Hardened Tommy Gun
Auto Ordnance Corporation (of the Kahr Firearms Group) has unveiled a NEW Thompson Case Hardened Tommy Gun chambered in the traditional .45 ACP with looks that could kill. The aesthetic, swirling-water appearance of case hardening that is most closely associated with revolvers looks right at home on the side of their newest Tommy Gun. This new model, according to the Kahr Firearms Group, is now shipping to retailers and should be available for purchase extremely soon.
What's It Like To Shoot A Real Life Tommy Gun? Fallout Guns Vs. Real World Guns
In anticipation of the release of Fallout 76 in November, we’re taking a look at the guns of the Fallout universe and comparing them to real guns. The Fallout series of games is set in a post apocalyptic alternate history universe that diverged from our history somewhere after 1945. The transistor was developed later in the Fallout world than in our world and nuclear technology is much more advanced while computer technology is much less advanced. It’s not too important to get wrapped up in the details of the whole alternate history thing. Just think of it as a picture of Morrow Morrow land, the way we thought the future might have been in 1950.
Thompson 9mm From Auto-Ordnance
The Thompson sub-machine gun is one of my favorite looking firearms of all-time. The “Chicago Typewriter”, or “Tommy Gun” is one of the most iconic guns ever. You’ll always be able to spot a Thompson variant in most mobster movies and WWII flicks. While the Thompson was first introduced in 1918, they’re actually still being produced by Auto-Ordnance, along with 1911s and M1 Carbines.

Ohio Sheriff's Dept Auctioning Off a Thompson Model 1921
When I was a kid the Thompson sub machine gun was one of my favorite guns. It just looked cool in those old gangster and WWII movies with the drum mag and the foregrip. Unfortunately I’ll probably never own a real Thompson sub machine gun, they’re a bit out of my price range. If you’re in the market for one the Tuscarawas County Sheriff’s office in Ohio will be auctioning off a Thompson Model 1921 that they’ve had in their possession for 83 years.
The Thompson M1A1 (Full Auto)
The American Thompson SMG is a gun that has been used by hero and villain alike, and countless film and television appearances have cemented its reputation as piece of Americana. But beyond its iconic status, the gun was a very effective piece of military hardware and was used to great effect in conflicts around the world until it fell into obsolescence. In this episode of TFBTV, we do some shooting with the M1A1 variant.
