PSA is resurrecting the STG-44!

STG-44 reproductions have been in the works from Hill & Mac Gun Works for a while, and now Palmetto State Armory is onboard to bring it across the finish line! The STG-44 reproduction is part of PSA’s new “Battlefield” line of retro inspired guns. There area few modern touches such as a new magazine pattern, and a tweaked gas system to help make the gun more shootable, but the look and feel is faithful to the original.

New for 2023, the 6.5 Creedmoor joins the SIG MCX Spear lineup. The rifle will now be available in three calibers: .277 Fury, 7.62x51mm, and 6.5 Creedmoor. Going for Distance at Gunsite with the New Mossberg Patriot LR Tactical

Hop and Luke took a trip down to the historic Gunsite Academy in Arizona and got a chance to shoot the new Mossberg Patriot LR Tactical out to a pretty good distance. The Patriot LR Tactical is the first chassis-style rifle in the Mossberg Patriot lineup, and is available at launch in 6.5 PRC, 6.5 Creedmoor, and .308 Winchester. We took the 6.5 PRC version out to 700 yards with the help of Gunsite’s instructors.

Finally, a Good PDW

In this episode of TFBTV, Hop reviews the CMMG Dissent, an ultra-compact PDW-style AR chambered in .300 Blackout. The Dissent has a recoil system fully contained in the upper receiver, which allows it to mount a folding stock or brace, and even fire folded. The Glock 47 is Coming in 2023!

In this episode of TFBTV, James Reeves brings you an exclusive on the NEW Glock 47, coming to the civilian market in 2023. Originally introduced quietly by Glock in 2019, the Glock 47 was a contract-only gun for Department of Homeland Security Customs and Border Protection agents. A full-size 9mm pistol with a 17-round capacity and the Glock MOS optics mounting system, the Glock 47 is similar to the Glock 17 MOS – almost identical, on paper. But the Glock 47 has a few tricks up its sleeve. Using a Glock 45 frame, the Glock 47 has the ability to also accept Glock 19 slides. Moreover, the Glock 47 slide is compatible with Glock 19 frames, meaning that the G47 gives you unofficial access to the long-awaited factory Glock 19L “long slide.”
