TBAC Announces New Fly 45 Modular Suppressor
For most of its history, the Thunder Beast Arms Corporation has primarily made suppressors for the precision rifle sector, but it seems lately that they’re branching out a bit. TFB recently shared the news of TBAC’s 9mm can, the Fly 9. This titanium-constructed silencer features a modular design that allows either a seven-inch long configuration or a short 4.4-inch conversion. Now they’ve announced a second Fly model, the Fly 45. This new can will also feature the same titanium construction and modularity as the Fly 9, with both eight-inch and 5.5-inch configuration options. Check out TBAC’s official product announcement below.
Recall Alert: Thunder Beast Ultra Gen2 and Dominus Suppressors
Any firearms-related recall is always unfortunate. Companies typically invest a significant amount of time, effort, and resources into their products’ research and development. They want to do all they can to ensure that by the time their product heads out the door into the waiting hands of distributors, retailers, and customers, it’s been well-made and thoroughly tested. Thunder Beast Arms Corporation, or TBAC for short, is no different. They’ve been putting plenty of sweat equity and passion into their suppressors for years, and normally have solid results. Unfortunately, occasionally things can and do go wrong for all of us, and one of those snafus has hit TBAC. If you have one of their Dominus or Ultra Gen2 cans that was manufactured last year, please be sure to read the following recall announcement that was just released, and check your silencer’s serial number.
TBAC Announces New Gen 2 Ultra Series Suppressors
The Thunder Beast Arms Corporation, or TBAC for short, has put out some solid suppressors in their thirteen-year history. This Cheyenne, Wyoming-based operation was founded in 2007 with a simple and passion-driven mission: “…to make the best sound suppressor for precision and long-range shooting.” The following year saw the release of their 30P suppressor, followed by a 2009 update in the then-flagship 30P-1 titanium can. Over the years as TBAC continued to progress and innovate, the 30P-1 gave rise to their Ultra series, and in January of 2015 the 9-inch Thunder Beast can was retired and replaced by the Ultra 9.
