Jagerwerks Trijicon SRO Battle Ready Optic Shield (B.R.O.S.)
The Trijicon SRO is one of my absolute favorite red dot optics for pistol competition shooting. However, unlike most of Trijicon’s other pistol red dot offerings, the SRO makes a compromise in terms of durability in order to gain a larger window to look through. Jagerwerks has recently introduced its latest aftermarket innovation by releasing the Trijicon SRO Battle Ready Optic Shield (B.R.O.S.). The Battle Ready Optic Shield is designed to increase the durability and resistance to impacts that the SRO has to protect it from inadvertent bumps, drops, and collisions.
New TangoDown SSM-03 RMR Mount for SIG P320 Pistols
TangoDown has just about everything when it comes to gun-related gear and accessories. The company just announced that they have released a long-sought-after adapter plate for the Trijicon RMR and the SIG P320 line of pistols – the SSM-03. Naturally, upon seeing this I was curious as I’ve been wanting to kit out one of my SIG P320 pattern pistols with a Trijicon SRO which happens to have the same footprint as the RMR. The kit will allow you to place a Trijicon RMR or similarly patterned option on top of your P320 with the option also available to have it paired with backup iron sights.
Holosun and Trijicon Announce Lawsuit Settlement
Competition in the firearms and firearms accessories market benefits consumers. It stands to reason, right? One of the best ways for a company to earn your business and make you a customer is to put out superior products. If they produce something that you want to buy more than you want to buy a different manufacturer’s comparable offering, they win your business – and in the process, you also win by virtue of improvements and innovations to which you gain access. Another option for a company to make themselves and their products more attractive is to sell them at a lower price point. Most consumers are mindful of their spending; they have to be judicious about how many of their dollars they are willing to relinquish and to whom for what. Buyers in general want good value – some of which will involve the quality and features of the product in question, but cost combines with other considerations to comprise a comprehensive value proposition. It’s not enough just to make a product; you have to sell it at a price that people are both able and willing to pay. Trijicon and Holosun both understand these precepts well, and they recently locked horns over how one another was going about their business.

[TriggrCon 2019] Head Down Arms SRO C.A.S.S. 5.56 NATO Pistol
We caught up with Head Down Arms ( HD) at TriggrCon 2019 to see what was new with them from the last time that we spoke this winter while attending SHOT Show 2019. Their newest product to the market that is not yet on their website is an AR-15 pistol purposefully engineered to help school resource officers overcome some of the challenges they face while protecting students on a campus. This new AR-15 pistol is aptly named the SRO (school resource officer) in 5.56 NATO. Head Down had these words to share about the product:
[NRA 2019] Trijicon's Brand New SRO Optic
Trijicon released their brand new SRO optic last week. They came out with the SRO as a response to their RMR having a small field of view and limiting the shooter’s sight picture. This was one of the bigger items that people were talking about over the weekend in the industry.
