NEW SIG Sauer ROMEO-X and ROMEO-X PRO – Standard Footprints!
Back at SHOT Show 2023, during the SIG Sauer Range Day, we got to look at the new SIG Sauer Electro-Optics Red Dot, the ROMEO-M17. Much to the chagrin of TFBTV viewers and those who liked the features that the M17 offered, customers weren’t able to get it since it had a proprietary SIG-LOC mounting interface for the M17/M18 military-issue handgun. Today SIG Sauer Electro-Optics is excited to announce the new RMSc footprint ROMEO-X series of optics which will include the smaller ROMEO-X meant for the RMSc footprint, and the ROMEO-X PRO meant for all P320, and DeltaPoint PRO footprints.

SIG Sauer's TANGO6T DVO Military Optic Now Avaialbe for Purchase
When SIG Sauer and SIG Sauer Electro-Optics first announced the introduction of their SIG Spear (M5) rifle they also paired it with a specific trim of the TANGO6T 1-6x24mm LPVO optic. This specific trim was designed and accepted by the U.S. Military and was dubbed the TANGO6T DVO or Direct View Optic. TFB Review: SIG Sauer ROMEO2 Modular Handgun Red Dot Sight
I first took a glimpse of the new SIG Sauer ROMEO2 modular handgun red dot back in the winter of 2020 when SIG Sauer invited me out to SIG Electro-Optics in Oregon. There I was able to get a look at how they were constructed, and who was making them, and then SIG also gave us a chance to get a little bit of trigger time behind the ROMEO2 before we were all sent home. Fast forward to 2022 and I was finally able to get my hands on one for testing and evaluation – my way. The ROMEO2 is attempting to do something that, to my knowledge, has never been done before with a pistol-mounted red dot. The ROMEO2 is modular in that the user can quickly and easily add the included protective metal shroud and polycarbonate lens to seal the interior of the optic from outside moisture, dirt, dust, and debris. How well does this work out? Let’s find out!

POTD: Concamo with SG 751 SAPR and SG 553 BK .300 Blackout
Photo Of The Day and today we have SIG SAUER AG and Concamo on offer. As usual, the latter does its best to hide, but the proven SG 751 SAPR in 7.62×51 made by SIG Sauer AG (Switzerland) does its best to stand out. The second firearm is a SG 553 BK in .300 Blackout with a matching suppressor. Which one do you like best?
SIG Sauer Electro-Optics Now Shipping the ROMEO2 MIL-SPEC RDS
Back in 2019, I had a unique opportunity to visit the SIG Sauer Electro-Optics facility in Woodburn, Oregon where the talented team stationed there were working hard on SIG’s next quality optic – the ROMEO2. The ROMEO2 Red Dot Sight is a unique optic that incorporates a removable shroud that completely seals off the emitter and internals of the optic from the elements and adds an additional layer of protection from bumps and drops. SIG Sauer is now happy to announce that the ROMEO2 MIL-SPEC red dot sight is finally shipping. The announcement was made today (February 15th) via the SIG Sauer Instagram page.

One of their successful categories in recent years has been their rangefinder lineup. Until recently, their available options have included one rangefinding binocular option and eight models of monoculars, spanning MSRPs from $179.99 to $1,319.99. Now they’re expanding the family with one new monocular model, and the promise of more to follow. The new rangefinder is called the KILO5K, and is the first in SIG’s KILO(K) series.

Coming Soon: SIG Sauer ROMEO2 Mil-Spec Red Dot Sight
I recently had an opportunity to visit the SIG Sauer Electro-Optics facility in Wilsonville, Oregon just last week. While I was there I had the opportunity to get a first-hand look at a whole host of optics and how they are made. While the facility is relatively new, being opened up in 2014, the team there is hard at work developing and assembling new optics like the soon to be released ROMEO2 Red Dot sight.
