Kinetic Development Group, still at it with their excellent SIDELOK series has seen fit to recognize what seems to be the minority of the AR-15 shooting community. With almost all manufacturers offering lower 1/3 optics mounts, those of us steeped in the classic cheek weld versus the morally and physically inferior chin weld now have a Q/D option for the excellent Aimpoint Micro series of optics and its constituent clones.

Kinetic Development Group, known for their excellent assortment of innovative Q/D accessories and pushing the envelope on SCAR weapons manipulation, has updated their Sidelok system to now be compatible with standard scoped rifles. Named the Modular Optic Mount, the new system is exactly that, modular, compatible with 1″, 30mm, and 34mm optics.

Kinetic Development Group, known for actually improving the SCAR with a better stock, foreend, etc. etc. has announced that they have a magnified optic version of their Sidelok technology coming down the pike. The Sidelok touts 100% consistent return to zero.
