If you’re shooting long distances a bubble level is strongly recommended. It will help you keep your shooting platform at a horizontal level reducing the margin of error. Most of the scope mounts from Spuhr have a bubble level built-in at the bottom, shown towards the shooter. Due to its location, it can be a little difficult to spot where the bubble is, so Spuhr has developed a new version called the A-0119.

Things they eye cannot see, but the mind wants to capture. With the help of a camera, a flash and some magic skills Stjernelund Custom Rifles managed to take these picture where a .22LR meets a light bulb.

At the 2018 SHOT Show Industry Day at the Range, Florida gunmaker FightLite Industries, best known for their SCR “ban state” lower receiver that allows “compliant” rifles to be made using AR-15 components. FightLite also is the manufacturer of the MCR upper receiver, a conversion kit that transforms an AR-15 into a belt-fed light machine gun.

The manufacturer of the SCR rifle and MCR belt feed system for M4 style rifles, ARES Defense Systems, is changing its name to FightLite Industries to more accurately reflect their current product line-up as well as upcoming additions to the line.

We live in a world today that is completely inundated with AR-15 pattern rifles. Good news for New York City gun enthusiasts, the Ares SCR “conventionalized” AR-15 has been approved for sale in New York City, under their more restrictive set of laws. Guns.com has an article on the approval:
