At SHOT Show 2024, Samson Manufacturing announced the addition of several new products to their lineup, including a new stock for the Ruger 10/22 Takedown, a pair of optics mounts for the AK platform, and a series of Field Survivor tool kits. These developments exhibit Samson Manufacturing’s ongoing commitment to providing firearm owners with an array of aftermarket enhancements and maintenance tools.

As much stuff as we cover during SHOT Show, we somehow always manage to miss something cool that was launched at the show. One thing I just found out about is the new Samson Manufacturing AK-47 RSR2 or Rear Sight Rail. This all-steel mounting solution for the Aimpoint T-1 and T2 red dot sights is a simple direct mount option that allows the user to replace their AK-47 rear sight with an RDS compatible direct mount which also features a co-witness notch so that the front sight post can still be used in case the red dot fails or is off.

Although this product was released on April 1st, it’s not a joke. Samson Manufacturing is proud to introduce their next-generation Hannibal Rail for Ruger’s Mini-14 and Mini Thirty rifles. The new Hannibal Rail is now compatible with many of the industry’s most popular red dot optics including the C-MORE, Vortex VENOM, Leupold DeltaPoint Pro, and of course the venerated Trijicon RMR. This new rail will come in two iterations to cover Ruger rifles made both before the changes made to the rifles during 2008.

The easiest way to ensure strength and rigidity in a scope mount is to make it chonky, but then what’s the point in having a lightweight rifle? Finding the perfect balance between strength and weight is the goal, especially when using a magnified optic. Samson Manufacturing’s new Rapid Precision Mounts aim to solve this exact problem. Built for balance, this is the Samson RPM.

Have you ever arrived at the shooting range and found out that you had forgotten to bring your favorite  earplugs (let’s assume that for whatever reason you are not using better ear protection)? Have you ever just forgotten where exactly you stored your earplugs and spent half an hour looking for them? If your answer is affirmative to these questions and if you don’t want to experience that again in the future, Samson Manufacturing has a solution for you with their new M-LOK earplug holders, an ear protection management system that will decrease the probability of losing or forgetting your earplugs by allowing you to conveniently store them on your weapon!

Samson Manufacturing is a producer of aftermarket parts like handguards, backup iron sights, stocks and flash hiders for various makes and models of guns. At SHOT Show 2020 they unveiled a new exciting addition to their line of products, the A-TM and B-TM folding stocks for the Ruger Mini-14 and Ruger 10/22 respectively.

Teased a couple of months ago, Samson Manufacturing PC Scout Rail for Ruger PC Carbine is now available for purchase. This 15″ barrel mounted aluminum Picatinny rail section will allow attaching sights in front of the action like it is in the scout rifles. The advantage of a barrel mounted rail over a receiver rail is that it is a much more robust and repeatable sight mounting solution because being attached to the barrel it ensures that the zero will be retained no matter how precise is the barrel to receiver attachment mechanism in takedown firearms like the Ruger PC Carbine.

A gripe a lot of AK owners have is not being able to easily suppress their boomsticks. With unique left-hand thread pitches, most of us in the US are short on resources to change out muzzle devices. It makes sense that many AK platforms have muzzles like this since they do hail from Europe though. To make it easier to source parts, Samson Manufacturing has taken it upon themselves to develop a solution. They now offer a NEW AK thread adapter for 9x19mm and 9x39mm AK-type rifles with 14 x 1 LH threaded muzzles.

Samson Manufacturing has introduced two new products for the Smith & Wesson M&P9 Shield and M&P9 Shield M2.0 pistols. The new accessories are an enlarged and extended magazine well and a +1 magazine extension.You can see both products together in the top image.

Samson Manufacturing has released an AR-15 low profile gas block which is extremely lightweight weighing only .63 oz. The company targets this product to people who are building lightweight AR-15 rifles. To many people, weight reduction wherever it is possible (even in very small amounts) is important for their ultra lightweight build. At the same time, it is designed to retain the original strength not to compromise the functionality of the weapon system.
