[SHOT 2020] Tandemkross Upriser Ruger PCC Chassis
Okay. It looks a little odd. But I am actually super impressed by Tandemkross’s new chassis for the Ruger PCC, the Upriser. It adapts the Ruger PCC to take a standard AR-15 buffer tube and stock, along with an AR-15 grip. It also comes with a bunch of quality of life improvements to Ruger’s already excellent PCC.
TFB Review: The New and Refreshed Ruger PC9 Chassis Model
Sturm, Ruger & Company, Inc. recently released their free-float handguard version of the PC9. The welcome addition of the free float handguard model to the PC9 platform breathed a breath of fresh air into the pistol caliber carbine market. Ruger has decided once again to subvert expectations and re-release the PC9 with even more updates. In their press release, Ruger had the following to say about this new release of the PC9 Chassis models.
Going RED: Federal Syntech PCC for Competition Shooters

Midwest Industries Ruger Takedown Handguards and Chassis
Midwest Industries Ruger takedown upgrades are coming out soon. They already came out with an MLOK adapter for the Ruger PCC. Well, now they have a handguard for the 10/22 takedown and the PCC. They are also throwing their hat into the ring of PCC chassis.
Infitech Sweden – Ruger PC Carbine Handguard and Chassis

A Closer Look Into The CROM PCC Chassis, .500 Blackout, Carbon Fiber Armor
Last week I posted some pictures of Condition Red Ordnance Mfg (CROM) new milled chassis for the Ruger PCC. I looked them up and found out that they are local to me so I reached out to them. They invited me over to take a look at their Ruger PCC Chassis, .500 Blackout and bullet proof carbon fiber armor.
CROM USA Ruger PC Carbine Chassis
Given the popularity of the Ruger PC Carbine, especially in ban states where aesthetics are banned, some people have taken it upon themselves to give the people what they want. Ever since the Ruger PCC came out, fans have been clamoring for Magpul to make a takedown stock similar to their X-22 Backpacker stock. I too have been wanting something similar but actually, I would settle for a chassis that used the Magpul SGA stock and CROM USA has answered that need.
Ruger Introduce NEW Pistol Calibre Carbine Models
Ruger have introduced six new pistol calibre carbines to their Ruger PC Carbine range. The takedown PCCs are now available in .40 S&W as well as 9x19mm. A range of new finishes and four distributor exclusive models with varied stock colours have also been added as well as a new free-float MLOK forend which gives the carbine a distinctive look.
Ruger PCC MLOK Options
The Ruger Pistol Caliber Carbine (PCC) has garnered some popularity for people who want a take down rifle in something other than .22lr. The Ruger PCC has also found increased popularity in states with restrictive gun laws like California and New York. While the Ruger PCC has a small picatinny rail at the bottom end of the handguard, it is limiting in terms of adding accessories. There are a couple Ruger PCC MLOK options that are out in the market now.
PMM MLOK Handguard For Ruger PCC
At the second SCAR Owner’s Group Shoot down in North Carolina, Jarod of Parker Mountain Machine was there showing off many of his products. In the SCAR Owner’s Group he is well known for his barrel re-threading services as well as his SCAR upgrade accessories. His upgraded Ruger PCC caught my attention as it was sporting the PMM MLOK handguard prototype.
