Ruger Precision Rifle, the rifle that took the market by storm in 2015 now comes in a customized version in 6.5 Creedmoor. Tweaked by Ruger’s own Custom Shop it features a TriggerTech Trigger, a newly developed barrier stop and an improved firing pin tip geometry to improve functionality for a wide variety of primers.

It’s rough being a lefty in the gun world. I mean, you get used to it, but still. Gas in your face, the controls of 90% of guns are on the wrong side, and don’t even get me started on the price of ambidextrous accessories. So when Ruger approached TFB and asked if anyone wanted to review a left-handed 10/22 from the Ruger custom shop, I jumped at the offer.

Ruger Custom Shop has released its third firearm and the second 10/22 Competition rifle. The main difference of this rifle from the first Custom Shop 10/22 is the stainless steel barrel and brown laminate stock. Let’s see what other features it comes with.

In recent years, Ruger has been bringing a flurry of firearms to market that are dripping with high-end quality. They notably introduced the GP100 Match Champion in 2014. This put a lot of companies on alert that Ruger was not only capable, but willing put out Custom Shop quality firearms for the shooting community. They followed that with a Match Champion iteration of their SP101 to the delight of many wheelgun fans. Probably their most impressive and popular assemblage of quality has been the Ruger Precision Rifle (RPR). Now a full-fledged Ruger Custom Shop is officially available to the public!
