NEW Smith & Wesson Shotgun: The S&W M&P 12

Smith & Wesson is making a shotgun (again), but this time, it’s a futuristic dual-tube bullpup 12 gauge: The Smith & Wesson M&P 12 shotgun. Part of the “Military & Police” line, this tactical bullpup pump shotgun holds fifteen 2 3/4″ shells, thirteen 3″ shells, or TWENTY mini-shells. Operators switch from tube to tube by using a cross-bolt tube selector switch. The M&P 12 uses AR-15 grips and has plenty of M-LOK and Picatinny rail for optics mounting. It’s a well-thought-out design, but with an MSRP of $1,165, how does it compare to competition such as the similar Kel-Tec KSG bullpup shotgun that has a $900 MSRP? Watch today’s video to find out.

They have now adopted the wicked cool Smith & Wesson M&P45 M2.0 as their official duty handgun. That 4/5th guaranteed to lean ya man.

Is the .357 Magnum Snubnose Revolver a Bad Idea?

There’s no question that the small frame .357 Magnum revolver is an EDC legend. Dependable, compact, and powerful, the snubnose revolver is still a popular choice for concealed carry over a century after the snubby was introduced. But should it be as popular as it is, still? Within the past decade, ultra compact, dependable, high capacity semi-automatic handguns like the SIG SAUER P365, Glock 43X, and Smith & Wesson Shield Plus have skyrocketed in popularity for good reason, but at the same time, advances in metallurgy and ammo technology have also improved the revolver at the same pace, with these pocket rockets pushing out more power in smaller, lighter packages. Today, James Reeves tests out the smallest, lightest .357 Magnum ever made, the Smith & Wesson 340PD, and fires it under stress at 20 feet, 30 feet, and 50 feet to see if a gun this small with this much horsepower is still a good idea. Check out the results.

GUNSMARTS Series 2 Launched by Smith & Wesson

There are more new gun owners than ever running around these days and while many of them are being trained by their friends and family, there are probably still many people out there who are in serious need of basic firearms instruction as well as navigating their own path through firearms ownership. Smith & Wesson released their GUNSMARTS Series a little less than a year ago and the show is hosted by my good friend Ken Scott. Smith & Wesson and crew are back with GUNSMARTS Series 2 which includes slightly more complex subject matter like how to join a gun range, firearms familiarization, gunshop etiquette and even dispelling some myths of gun ownership.

Smith & Wesson Offers M&P15 SBR Through Mil Vet/LEO Program

Smith & Wesson has produced ARs for many years now. Their M&P 15 series has expanded to dozens of models, ranging from .22 rimfire plinkers, to standard .223 AR-15s, to large-frame camo-coated .308 versions, and more. Most of their offerings live more on the budget-friendly end of the price range as well, which has helped them become hugely popular with customers. S&W has sold a ton of these rifles over the years. Now they’re adding a new option to the list, offered exclusively to the military veterans, law enforcement personnel and other first responders who qualify for S&W’s “America’s Guardians” program. This newest M&P15 is an SBR, and thus will require a $200 tax stamp from the ATF on top of the purchase price. Davidson’s, who will be distributing many of these mil/LEO program guns to retailers and end users, issued the following announcement about the new item.
