Is The Upcoming FLUX Raider 365 Worth Looking At?

“The PDW in your pants,” FLUX Defense calls it (informally). And damn if it isn’t true. The FLUX Raider 365 is arguably the smallest and thinnest 9mm PDW available (well, it should be available next month). As a truly on-body concealable PDW, it stands out in a crowded market. In this review, we take an in-depth look at the FLUX Raider 365, comparing it to the 365 Macro pistol and putting it through an extensive accuracy test.

CZ's "Beautiful" PDW: A Sadly Unfinished Project

In this episode of TFBTV, James Reeves is at CZ headquarters to talk about the CZ “Beautiful” PDW. The “Beautiful” is a secret CZ project that was never finished and never revealed to the public – until today. The “Beautiful” was given this nickname probably because it is aesthetically hideous, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and James and Karl both think the “Beautiful” is one gorgeous PDW. Will this ever be finished and released? Probably not, but at least we get to share it with you.

TFB Review: The Extar EP9 Is True American Affordability

9mm PCCs have been one of the fastest-growing sub-sections of the firearms industry and with so many offerings out there already, it’s hard to stand out. When I first heard about Extar USA and their virtually all-polymer firearms, I was almost certain that they had to be cheaply made import guns. To my surprise, it was the exact opposite and it’s the first reason why I really like the EP9 for what it is. Extar USA was founded in 1995 and was one of the first manufacturers of molded polymer rifle caliber receiver sets. The Extar EP9 was released just a short while ago, and the much anticipated and desired EP9 Carbine followed shortly afterward. With the recent release of the EP9 Carbine, I thought it was finally time to give you all my review of the EP9 “large format pistol” that I’ve been shooting for the last several months. Today I’ll give you some insight into where the platform excels, what I think it’s good for, and where it might fall short for some shooters with specific shooting tastes.

Finally, a Good PDW

In this episode of TFBTV, Hop reviews the CMMG Dissent, an ultra-compact PDW-style AR chambered in .300 Blackout. Those of you who are knife fans as well as firearms enthusiasts may recognize Max Venom primarily as a blade brand. Now Max Venom introduces a new minimalist take on the handgun/PDW conversion idea. Meet the MXP-DW.

TFB Review: The B&T TP9

When it comes to owning certain firearms, there seems to always be a couple bucket list guns out there for everyone. Movies and pop culture certainly influenced my love of firearms over the years and the TP9 was certainly one of them. Whether it’s paragliding pilots carrying a Steyr TMP shooting at Pierce Brosnan or Robert De Niro being shot at by a bad guy in the drive in movie theater with a TMP in the classic movie Heat, this little submachine gun was always such a cool concept and it was always a goal to own one. I’ve owned my TP9 and SBRed it for around three years ago. Let’s take a closer look at the classic B&T TP9.
