Op Electronics Ltd. will be introducing their TOP GUN Marksmanship Training System at SHOT Show next week. It’s a computerized system that records information gathered from dry firing at an electronic target, immediately displaying information on the shooter’s computer. The company says it’s a useful tool for shooters of all skill levels and has released the following information promoting it:

The standing position is my favorite position. Prone is more accurate, and my choice for if I absolutely, positively have to hit something that I have a clear line of sight to or if I’m practicing the basics, but standing is more broadly useful and more fun, too. Can the traditional standing position be improved? Hundreds of former Tamil Tigers fighters are in detention/rehabilitation centres. Some of the best shots, some of them former insurgent snipers, are being trained in competition shooting by the Sri Lanka military as part of their rehabilitation.
