Italian Parliament Approves 9 Luger for Pistols – Is This the End of 9x21mm IMI?
On the 21st of December 2021, the Italian Parliament has finally penned the word “end” on a decades-long national oddity: the ban of the 9×19 mm Luger. This comes as part of a package of amendments aimed to align Italian laws to the European Union’s. A step in the right direction, for once.
POTD: Italians Fighting in Built-Up Area with Beretta ARX160
Photo Of The Day: We don’t see the Beretta ARX160 too often, but here it is in the hands of Italian soldiers with the enhanced Forward Presence Battle Group Latvia at Camp Adazi, Latvia. They are conducting FIBUA training (Fighting in Built-Up Area). The ARX160 was developed for the Italian Armed Forces and launched in 2008 as part of the Soldato Futuro program. It uses the 5.56x45mm round.

Italian Cosmi RIGATO Semi-Auto Rifle
Cosmi semi-auto shotguns have always been some of the most fascinating firearms in the shotgun world. With long recoil action, tubular magazine located in the stock, and action capable of pivot opening like a break-action shotgun, the design of Cosmi guns is unusual, to say the least. From the establishment of the company, Cosmi only made shotguns, however, they’ve recently entered the rifle market by introducing the new Rigato rifle that utilizes the same design as their shotguns.

It’s not everyday that the Italian company BCM Europearms appear here at TFB, but they did already in 2012 with their “Extreme” rifles and SPAR Straight-pull AR-15s.
Italian FUTUR-K6AM Adjustable O&U Shotgun Stock

[SHOT 2018] Archon Firearms "Extremely Low Bore Axis" Pistol – the Type B
Archon Firearms, formerly known as Arsenal Firearms USA, showed off to the public their Type B pistol, also formerly known as the Stryk B pistol, at SHOT Show’s Industry Day at the Range. To avoid a potential trademark dispute which would have delayed the introduction of this pistol even longer, Archon Firearms decided to re-brand themselves and the pistol.
The Round That Killed JFK
In March of 1963, a man named Lee Harvey Oswald purchased an M38 Carcano rifle and some quantity of ammunition from Klein’s Sporting Goods in Chicago. Oswald would later use this rifle and ammunition (or so the official narrative goes) to assassinate the then- President of the United States John F. Kennedy on November 22nd, 1963, in Dallas, Texas.
