Bushnell Partners Up with I2D Licensed Brands for New Lighting Gear
Portable lighting has become pretty important for me as I get more and more into night vision shooting. At the end of the night, when you want to clean everything up, using night vision devices really isn’t the best way to do things, and this is where products like the new Bushnell branded portable lighting equipment are. This new collection has everything from hall handheld lights to portable lanterns and of course the ever-useful headlamp! This new product line is due to the new partnership that Bushnell has made with I2D Licensed Brands, in an effort to expand Bushnell’s product offerings in the outdoor space.

SureFire Launches XSC-B Subcompact Handgun WeaponLight
When talking about firearm safety, most people focus on preventing negligent discharges. When I ask for a safety rule, I usually hear “Treat every gun as if it’s loaded.” This is a great rule, but what if you do want to send a round? Then knowing your target becomes the most important rule. Positive identification (PID) is extremely important, especially for a trained civilian. The best way to know your target is to see it, and in dark environments, that can be difficult. Thankfully, the weapon light market has you covered with tons of high-quality lights for your carry guns. The newest from SureFire is the XSC-B Subcompact Handgun WeaponLight.
TFB SPOTLIGHT: ACEBEAM Rider RX EDC Flashlights – Compact Utility
Everyday Carry, or EDC, has become a buzzword in the gun community. At its core, the EDC mindset is a reminder to be reasonably prepared for the day’s events and possibilities by carrying and having access to some basic tools, equipment, and supplies that can make life easier and safer. My EDC gear centers around three cornerstone items – pistol, knife, and flashlight – with easy access to secondary items like a tourniquet, spare magazines, less-lethal device, food, and water. Depending on the area of responsibility (AOR) you live and work in, your EDC items may vary widely. However, the one constant that is usually legal to carry and has a great deal of utility is the flashlight. Let’s take a look at the ACEBEAM Rider RX EDC line of flashlights that offer compact versatility.

TFB Weekly Amazon Deals 26: Weapon Mounted Lights for Your Pistol
Welcome to TFB Weekly Amazon Deals 26. This week we’re going to talk about weapon-mounted lights for your handgun or pistol. We’re fortunate in the modern age to have access to not only a wide variety of high-quality pistol-mounted flashlights but handguns that can field these lights as well. No matter what kind of gun you have or are looking to carry, there is likely a handgun, holster, and light combo out there that will fit exactly what you need. While pistol-mounted flashlights might not be appropriate in every single case, they can be a great benefit to you in many defensive low-light situations. A light on a home defense handgun is a great idea no matter how you slice it and when out and about you can’t really predict when or where threats may arise and having a light could mean the difference between spotting and identifying a threat or not seeing it at all.

Welcome to TFB Weekly Amazon Deals 9: Essential Gear Edition. This week I’ve gathered a handful of items that I consider to be “essential” when it comes to shooting or everyday carry duty. This week we’ve got a few lights, a knife, hearing protection, and even some sight-in targets. Are these the only things you’ll be needing at the range? No. However, I find myself using these items more often than not and every item on this list is something I more or less carry with me to the range every time,. Everything else just depends on what kind of shooting I plan on doing for the day.
