Crimson Trace Light-Laser Combos for G42/43, XD-S
The Crimson Trace Corporation announced the release of new Laserguard Pro modules for the following subcompact pistols: Glock 42, Glock 43 and the Springfield Armory XD-S line. This extends the company’s Pro line for small pistols that currently fit the extremely popular Smith & Wesson Shield handguns.
Finally – Laser / Light Combo for Micro Handguns from Crimson Trace
Considering the popularity of laser / light combination illuminators in the market, I was always perplexed with the various laser manufacturers opted to to only release lasers for the sub-compact and non-railed handguns in the market. With the cost of LEDs being near nothing, it was boggling, especially with common handgun usage being in low-light situations.
How NOT To Test Your Pistol LASER
So this guy is testing what looks to be a 1911 with laser. I am assuming possibly a Kimber with factory Crimson Trace? Well regardless of the make and model, the shooter clearly does not have a grasp of the Firearm Rules of Safety.
[SHOT 2016] S&W Releases New Bodyguard 380 With No Manual Safety
Smith & Wesson’s big announcement at the show was something concealed carriers have been asking after for years now: An M&P Bodyguard 380 with no manual thumb safety. This would perhaps have been a much bigger announcement than it was, had the company released the product in 2012, rather than 2016. The fact is that those looking for a pocket .380 handgun – those who just can’t live with a nigh-useless manual safety, that is – have so many options to choose from at this point that the safety-less Bodyguard won’t be terribly exciting news for most.
Springfield Armory Announces New 1911 Loaded Crimson Trace Models
Springfield Armory is releasing a number of new guns for 2016. The first gun to be released is the parkerized Loaded model 1911 with Crimson Trace lasergrips. This is concealed carry pistol meant for defense.
New ShockStop System From Crimson Trace
Recoil. It’s an expected part of shooting firearms, so much so that many shooters begin anticipating it early on. And while it’s true that felt recoil depends on many factors from caliber to model of gun to the rounds being fired, it’s also true that handling said recoil depends entirely on the individual shooter. No two shooters are alike, and no two shooters have identical experiences even while using identical firearms. What may be simple for you to shoot proficiently may be a struggle for someone else – even someone with a certain level of basic experience – and vice versa. Crimson Trace is looking to improve the odds a shooter can handle felt recoil with their new product, the ShockStop System.
Crimson Trace LiNQ System
Crimson Trace released details about its new LiNQ System that it will be showing this month in Las Vegas at the annual Shooting, Hunting and Outdoors Trade Show.
RM380 Gets First Factory/Aftermarket Accessory: Crimson Trace Laser
Continuing their theme for immediate release of a laser to match a pistol (a’la R51), Crimson Trace has announced the release of their LG-479 laser system for the new RM380 handgun. Touted as the result of “behind the doors shared details” between Remington and Crimson Trace, the new system is a standard red laser with grip pad activation.
Gun Review: The Remington RM380 Micro-Pistol
I wrote the original story of the new RM380 some months ago. Since that time things have certainly changed for the better at Remington. With the hiring of a new CEO the way new Remington guns will be introduced has changed a great deal. I’ve covered this several times in comments and a previous press release article so I won’t go over it again.
Crimson XChange Powered Rugers
Crimson Trace and Ruger teamed up to release a pair of LC9s Pro pistols equipped with the Crimson XChange lights and lasers. The new pistols, distributed through Talo, come with either a light or a laser, and the system is designed to let a shooter easily swap one for the other.
Hogue Releases "LE" (Laser Enhanced) Grip for 1911's
As their press release implies: Hogue has finally gotten around to releasing a laser grip for 1911’s. Don’t get me wrong, Crimson Trace makes some great stuff, but Hogue just feels natural in the hand to me (played paintball with them on an Autococker still to this day). As such, I welcome the news.
New Crimson Trace Laserguard for Springfield XDS
If you have a Springfield XD-S and are in the market for new laser sights, Crimson Trace is coming out with a new product that should meet your needs. The new laser is a part of their Laserguard line and is called the LG-469G. It attaches to the front of your gun’s trigger guard and although it comes with Crimson Trace’s patented Instinctive Activation feature it also has a master on and off switch. The laser itself is green, adding another green laser to the company’s growing line of green laser sights, and attaches to the existing rail slots on the Springfield XD-S. It’s fully adjustable and designed to fit neatly with the design of the Springfield XD-S.
Training with Laser Sights
Crimson Trace has put together a series of training videos about the use of laser sights. These videos were produced with the help of the Education and Training Division of the National Rifle Association. Instructors from the Gunsite Academy are featured in the videos, as is the Gunsite training facility.
Crimson Trace Lasergrips for Bersa Thunder
Crimson Trace is now making and selling Lasergrips for the popular Bersa Thunder .380 ACP handguns. The new Lasergrips use a red laser for aiming and have the standard grip activation that the rest of the line is known for. The model number is LG-646 for anyone who might want to order a set for their Bersa.
Green Laser for Revolvers
Crimson Trace announced a new green laser aiming device for Ruger LCR and LCRx revolvers. The LG- 415G Lasergrip is similar to the red laser version already made for the Ruger revolvers, but upgrades the package to use a green laser.
