Almost every single exposed metal part of this Rigby rifle is hand engraved with elephant skin pattern – even the barrel! It is not anything common to see an engraved barrel even among such high-end bespoke rifles. It is so beautifully engraved that it seems to be made by an alchemist who found a way to turn the elephant skin into steel.

OFEK-308 Tactical Bolt Action Rifle by Kalashnikov Israel

I recently came across a couple of images of a new tactical bolt action rifle made by Kalashnikov Israel. This is the same company that made the futuristic AK ALFA. Images of the new rifle which is called OFEK-308 were published in March 2017 on the company’s Facebook page. Surprisingly there is no significant media coverage of this rifle. The reason should partially be the lack of any information about it. The rifle was not officially announced yet, too. Let’s take a look at these images and see what we can tell.

A STEAMPUNK Bullpup? It's the Thorneycroft Carbine, Old Chap!

MOLOT Introduces Four New Rifles Chambered in 9.6x53mm Lancaster [Arms & Hunting 2017]

Molot has introduced four new rifles during the Arms & Hunting 2017 exhibition. All the new rifles are chambered in recently introduced 9.6x53mm Lancaster caliber and have oval bore rifling. According to Molot officials, these rifles are neither concept guns nor ones being developed but finished models which are already in production and will become available in the Russian market by the end of the year.

Ruger American Rifle Now Offered in 7.62x39mm, Mini Thirty Magazines

Sturm, Ruger & Company, Inc. has just released a version of their Ruger American Rifle Ranch Model chambered in 7.62x39mm. The rifle is also designed to accept Ruger Mini Thirty magazines of varying capacities. Shipped with the rifle is a 5 round magazine, but aftermarket and higher capacity magazines are available both from Ruger and throughout the market. Ruger representatives expressed an interest and demand for the caliber throughout the U.S. market.

Integrally Suppressed AK Gopak Rifle Demonstrated at Ukrainian Trials Grounds

An integrally suppressed variant of the AK called the Gopak was on display a recent demonstration at the Goncharivske trial grounds in the Chernihiv area of Ukraine. In two videos released via YouTube this week, the rifle is demonstrated firing and being inspected by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Oleksandr Turchynov.
