At SHOT 2024, California-based firm, Presma, unveiled new additions to its collection of tactical rifle accessories. Known among firearm enthusiasts for producing specialist gun components, their latest products are aimed at enhancing the user experience for gun owners.

At SHOT Show 2024, Aimtech showcased two new additions to its lineup of bipods. The offerings included a fresh entry in the Pan-and-Pivot series and a Warhammer-series bipod designed for an M-LOK stud mounting system.

Savage has long been known for their extensive lineup of long guns for hunters, recreational, and precision shooters. Many of their firearms usually get paired with a bipod to make the entire rig more useful and that’s why Savage is proud to introduce the new Savage Bipod line. This new in-house line of Bipods from savage will come in both M-LOK and Swivel variants and weighs in at around 11 ounces keeping it night and lightweight like other polymer bipods. It also features simple-to-use controls and a bunch of other small features that make it perfect for those who like to get their rifles in the dirt and brush.

MDT Sporting Goods Ltd., a renowned precision rifle chassis manufacturer, has unveiled its latest product, the MDT Black GRND-POD Bipod. Designed to complement both bolt-action and AR platform rifles, this all-black bipod combines affordability with essential features required for precision shooting. MDT’s commitment to delivering value and accuracy shines through the GRND-POD, which has been carefully developed based on feedback from competitive shooters.

The wait is over! First shown back in 2018, the Kickstand bipod by Q is finally available for purchase. The new Q Kickstand was designed to be a lightweight, low-profile, easily adjustable and rattle-free utility bipod. Let’s take a quick look at the features of this new bipod.

When you want to shoot long range, a bipod is extremely helpful but often they are bolted or mounted as an afterthought to your rifle. Well BLK LBL Bipod is integrated into a handguard for the AR-15 and thus works for the Ruger Precision.  Let’s take a close look at this bipod handguard.

Bipods – a dear subject for me as I have a dozen of them for various applications. Swagger Bipods now have several new products available, mainly developed for hunting and competition shooting, but also for tactical purposes. A new feature I haven’t seen before is the Swagger SFR10’s ability to adjust the flex tension allowing the shooter to fine-tune the flexibility of the legs and go from flexible to rigid mode. BLK LBL has expanded their line of handguards with integrated bipods by introducing a version designed for Desert Tech MDR and MDRX bullpup rifles. The new handguard is called BLK LBL Mantis and it is designed in collaboration with Desert Tech, with the idea suggested by Karl Kasarda of InRange TV who has been extensively testing these rifles during the past several years.

Just over 2 years ago MDT acquired the CKYE-POD bipod from Ckye Thomas, owner of 406 Bullets. As you can see below MDT’s R&D has been busy developing and tweaking the base of this bipod and the Gen 2 is now ready.

At last week’s TFB GUNFEST, Magpul brought out a whole host of new products. This one caught my eye for my long-range precision gun. The Magpul QR Rail Grabber is a bipod mount for ARCA and Picatinny rail all in one.

GRS Riflestocks from Norway has released their first bipod. Made from 6061 Aluminum and stainless-steel hardware, this bipod can either be mounted a top-mounted manner (as pictured) or in the traditional way underneath the barrel.

Since its founding in 1993, Texas-based TRUGLO has developed an extensive product catalog. Although they are probably best known in the firearms world for their tritium and fiber optic handgun sights, they also offer a plethora of other items for hunting, archery, and more. From a variety of scopes and red dots to shotgun choke tubes, splatter targets, and bowfishing accessories, TRUGLO brings a plethora of sporting and outdoor solutions to the table. One such product line is their Tac-Pod adjustable bipod series. With MSRPs ranging from $35-$60, these are an inexpensive alternative to the industry’s more top-shelf options, many of which can go for considerably more money. Now with a July 15th press release, TRUGLO is introducing two new additions to their bipod menu: a “Carbon Pro” version available in short (6″-9″) and long (9″-13″) lengths.

MDT has been coming on very strong in the precision rifle world in the past few years.  With the release of their ACC chassis last year, they became contenders for a seat at the head of the precision rifle chassis table. Not ones to let up on the accelerator they have expanded their product line again this year, most notably with the XRS (Crossover Rifle Stock)

In the precision rifle world, B&T industries is well known for their top quality bipods, monopod and rail accessories.  Starting with their monopod and moving to their V8 series then the PSR (to meet the needs of the similarly named USSOCOM rifle project) more recently the Cal and now the SUPER Cal B&T are not ones to rest on their laurels.
